Portsmouth, NH (April 30, 2025 ) 鈥撀, the workforce training program of the Community College System of New Hampshire (CCSNH), is collaborating with Lonza on a new apprenticeship program at its Portsmouth, NH facility. Working with 91看片网 (GBCC), ApprenticeshipNH is working alongside Lonza and the Office of Apprenticeship to create a one-year Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP) that combines paid, on-the-job training at Lonza with eight weeks of related instruction at GBCC鈥檚 Portsmouth campus.

As of February 2025, GBCC now offers a customized biomanufacturing education program for Lonza apprentices. 鈥淟onza was familiar with our outstanding Biotechnology certificate and associate degree programs 鈥 and knew that we were right around the corner from its Portsmouth site. Combining resources for a biomanufacturing technician apprenticeship program offered a powerful means of training Lonza鈥檚 future workforce while preparing students for careers in a fast-growing field,鈥 said Dr. Cheryl Lesser, GBCC president. .
